Acceptable Use Policy
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses the Sequences service, and to anyone you let use your account, your keys or your integration. If it conflicts with a hosted model's own acceptable-use policy, you must follow both.
1 · Security and integrity
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, to other customers' accounts, workers or data, or to the systems behind them;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission (see our Security page for how to report a vulnerability);
- attempt to escape the isolation of a worker, read other customers' data, or reach our platform credentials or control systems;
- interfere with or overload the service, including denial-of-service attacks;
- circumvent rate limits, quotas, metering, billing or account restrictions, including by opening several accounts to get around them.
2 · Use of our compute
You must not:
- use our compute for anything other than running your own policies, benchmarks, evaluations and the builds they need, for example cryptocurrency mining or general-purpose hosting;
- resell, sublicense or provide access to the service to third parties, except under a written agreement with us;
- attempt to extract, reconstruct or distil the weights of a hosted model.
3 · Robots and physical safety
You must not use the service:
- to design, develop, control or operate weapons, or any system intended to injure people or destroy property;
- for surveillance, tracking or identification that targets people, including facial recognition or other biometric identification of individuals without their consent;
- to control equipment that could injure a person or damage property unless a competent person supervises it and can stop it at once through an emergency stop that does not depend on the service;
- as the sole control of a safety-critical system, including medical devices, vehicles on public roads, aircraft, and critical infrastructure.
4 · Content and data
You must not upload, send or generate through the service:
- malware, or content designed to harm systems or people;
- content that is unlawful or infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- sexual content involving minors, in any form;
- personal data collected or used without the notices, consents or other legal basis the law requires, including images of people captured by your robots' cameras;
- other people's contact details without their permission.
5 · Models, law and export
You must not:
- use a hosted model in breach of its licence or its own acceptable-use policy;
- use the service in breach of United States export control or sanctions laws, or any other law that applies to you;
- use the service to deceive people, impersonate others, or send unsolicited bulk messages.
6 · Reporting misuse
Report misuse of the service, or a vulnerability, to founders@generalsequences.com.
7 · What we may do
If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may remove or disable the content or deployment concerned and suspend or end access as set out in section 15 of the Terms, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where we can, we will tell you first.
8 · Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top changes when we do.
